Welcome to Mary L. Whelpley's Poetry

I started writing in 1992 when I wrote a poem for my daughter to read at a Christmas program. This poem was also my first to be published in "Wind In The Night Sky." There are about 300 poems and stories I have written, with nineteen being published. I have received ‘editors choice awards’ and also had several poems read for ‘the sound of poetry.’
I have written three books for my granddaughter.
